With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Tower Howard in Corvallis, Oregon, born in Yreka, California, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Tower and Treva M. Gott Tower; and her husbands, Dean Bruce and Jess W. Howard. She is survived by: her children, D. Michael Bruce (Lois) of Philomath, OR, Steven E. Bruce of Leander, TX and Sharon A. Krause (David) of Prineville, OR. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grand-children, one sister, three nieces and one nephew, and a stepson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia's name to - Southern Oregon University Education Fund, Oregon State University - School of Education, United First Methodist Church, Linn-Benton Food Share, Habitat for Humanity, or American Red Cross.
