He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Martinsen and Doris Martinsen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Julie Kimitsuka (Richard), Brian Martinsen and Thomas Martinsen; his grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Kimitsuka; his brother Edward Martinsen (Libby); and his cousins, Edward Ericson (Kim) and Ruth Wolsch.
Memorial donations in John's name may be directed to Trillium Family Services (Children's Farm Home).
