He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pavelek and Wanda Pavelek; and his brother Timothy Pavelek. He is survived by: his siblings, Therese Southwick, Michael Pavelek and Patricia Janego; his wife Ruth Weedling; and his children, Matthew Pavelek, John Pavelek, Teresa Bishnu and James Pavelek. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (501 NW 25th St, Corvallis, OR 97330).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or SafeHaven Humane Society in his honor.
