It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Martin Simonson (Corvallis, Oregon), who passed away on January 4, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mateus and Sarah Rosella Simonson (Nixon); his wife Betty Lou DeGraw; his son Steven; his son-in-law Mike O'Brien; and his sister Lola Beazio.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Ball Corvallis (Peter) and Patrice Davis (James) of Salem; his grandchildren, Crosby Ball, Stephanie Ball, Paige Glennon (O'Brien) and Deon Merten (O'Brien); his great grandchildren, Marley, Isabelle, Elizabeth, Nicolas, Solomon, Olivia and Alexae; and his siblings, Gerald Simonson (Linda) of Rigby Idaho and Mary Stoddard of Idaho Falls.
In lieu of flowers donations to Special Olympics of Benton County would be appreciated.
