He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Jessie; and his siblings, Robert, Margery, Elizabeth and James.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Ann Levenhagen; his son Tom; and his grandchildren, Karen, Denise, Jessie, Kathryn, James and Ian. He is also survived by children and grandchildren; and a niece, several nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
