He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Snook and Zada Snook (Dustin); his son Stanley Richard Snook; and his sister Betty Jane (Jacobs). He is survived by: his former spouse Willina Joyce Bowden; his child Russell Ralph, Jr.; his wife Dorothy Davis (Rutledge); his children, Ralph Snook (Pam), Marilyn Mecham (Charlie) and Ron Snook (Tracy); his stepchildren, Joyce Dixon (Richard), Steve Rutledge (Marcia), Sally Cancilla (David) and Joe Rutledge (Rhonda); and his siblings, Melvin, Joe, Alice (Brown) and Max. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
