Leonard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Nelson and Ines J. Nelson (Lundstrom); his wife Bernie Bergstrom; his sons, Matt E. Nelson and Todd G. Nelson; his sister Hazel Bredskar; his brother-in-law Roy; his brother Clarence Nelson; and his sister-in-law Bette.
He is survived by: his brother Ron; his sister-in-law Jan; his children, Leonard Nelson (Ramona), Diane Dennis (Terry) and Julee Wirth (Scott); his grandsons, Eugene "Gene" Gavette (Judy Keller), Ryan Wirth and Braden Wirth; his great grandchildren, Brian Gavette, Vincent Gavette and Kyle Gavette; and his great great grandchild Weston "Bubba". He is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
