With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katelynn Benson of Coos Bay, Oregon, who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 21. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jerry and Connie Hazel of Coos Bay; her cousin Harrison of Utah; and her great-grandparents, Harry and Virginia Renfro of Coos Bay.
She is survived by: her parents, Leah Scott and Larry Benson of Coos Bay; her stepfather Sean Scott of Coos Bay; her siblings, Zach Thrall of Lebanon, Abby Gaither of Lebanon, Trevis Benson of North Bend and Caleb Benson of Coos Bay; her brother-in-law Brandon Gaither of Lebanon; her nephew Walton Gaither of Lebanon; her niece Zoey Benson of North Bend; her grandparents, Harry and Sherri Mollier of California; and her great-aunt Pat Ross of Redmond. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles along with numerous cousins.
