He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Fedrau; his grandparents, Abraham and Mae Fedrau; and his brother Christian Amatulli. He is survived by: his grandparents, Eugene and Alice Niemeyer; his father John Fedrau Sr.; his sisters, Mary Britsch (Mike), Sarah Wenbourne (Dan) and Anna Dias (Jason Williams); his sons, John III and Abraham Fedrau; and his niece Ruth Fedrau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
