He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thornley and Mala Thornley; his wife Marva; his brothers, Gil (Marva) and Arnold; and his daughters, Michele Thornley (Jack Gallimore), Marci Hartson (Chris) and Ching Hill. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a future date.
