He is survived by: his wife Betty Shaffer (Widmer); his pet Lulu; his sister Sandra Shaffer Willocks (Dale); his children, JoAnne Leonard (Matt), Greg Shaffer (Amy), Dustin Shaffer and Sarah Shaffer; his grandchildren, Kali, Nathan, Aaron, Carson and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Mason and Alyssa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family.
