She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert B. Fairbanks and Edith E. Fairbanks (Schweizer); her former spouse Hursel Buzbee; her son Steven; her daughter-in-law Kathy Buzbee; her daughter Barbara Mendoza; her grandchildren, Brian Mendoza, Pamela Brasunas (Anthony), Michael Mendoza and Feyd Carroll; her great grandchild Corin Brasunas; her brother Robert Fairbanks; her niece Kathy Fairbanks; her nephew John Fairbanks; and her husband H. W. Buzbee (Buz).
