He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Leonard Bachmeyer and Addie Lavina Bingenheimer; his children, Heidi Hix (David), Gretchen Bachmeyer (Keith Lengen) and Kurt Bachmeyer (Anne-Marie); his sisters, Mary Jean Flak and Karen Flak (Marvin); his grandchildren, Nichole Hovelsrud (Tyler), Alisha Silva (George) and Sara Wheeler (Mike); his great grandchild Teresa Huls of Chippewa Falls; and his brother-in-law Lorents Flak.
