He was predeceased by: his sisters, Doris and Donna; and his granddaughter Megan Wolff. He is survived by: his friend David; his siblings, Dean Byers, Betty Heap and Barbara Young; his wife Helen Byers; his children, Doug Byers (Sue), Dixie Hockema (Chuck) and Dianne Wolff (Dan); his grandchildren, Zach Byers, Kaci Grosbeck (Jake), Bo Jolley (Clairissa), Jen Holmes, Jeff Hockema, Jamie Hockema, Brandi Werner (Josh) and Austin Wolff; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Brody, Gunner, Preslie, Harper, Walker, Evelyn and Werner.
