He was predeceased by: his father David Evan Clyde (Pat); his son Eric Paul Chambers; and his mother Bess Clyde. He is survived by: his son Patrick Andrew Clyde; his wife Sharon Clyde; his siblings, Craig Clyde and Kathy Gammon; his daughter Abby Clyde; his daughter-in-law Amber Clyde; his grandchildren, Casey, Laura Chambers, Parker Clyde, Ella Clyde and Phebe Clyde; and his great grandchildren, Paislee, Cambry, Johanna, Liesel Chambers, Michelle (Erik), Kristjon and Hannah (Brendan Pederson).
Over the years, David served his community as a member of the Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation Board and the Seaside Rotary Club which included a stint as Club president.
