She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Belton and Howard Belton; her spouse Richard Birkemeier; her brother Arthur of George, John; and her son John Paul.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Birkemeier (Nancy) of Canby, Mary Ruark (Mike) of Yarrow Pt and Jim Birkemeier (Margaret) of Aurora.

In lieu of flowers Margaret would prefer that you "pay it forward" and offer out a few random acts of kindness.
