He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie Ann Schermerhorn; his brother Gerald Arthur Fasteen; his daughters, Nancy Margaret Miller (Terry Wayne Miller) and Brenda Ann Barton; and his grandchildren, Lynn Louise Crawford, Stephen Sirman Hart, James Richard Barton, Joshua Steven Barton, Jeremy Randal Barton and Amanda Rose Barton. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
