He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret; his son-in-law Douglas Sims; and his former wife Etsuko. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Steve Woodward (Sandra), Phillip Woodward (Susan), Carol Franzen, Sheri Sims and Susan Woodward; his grandchildren, Brandi Gillespie (Christopher), Tyler Sims (Kili), Shelbi Sims, Skyle Woodward, Dan Woodward (Jen) and Beth Woodward; and his great grandchildren, Eithen, Beau Gillespie, Sage Sims, Charlie and Mae Woodward. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
