He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Ziemer; and his children, Gregory Ziemer and Jill Ziemer. He is survived by: his sister Ramona Longton; his daughter Deanna Ziemer-McGinn; his daughter-in-law Merchi Ziemer; and his close friend Jimmie Wade. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
