He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Leighton and Zora Leighton (McDonald); his children, Danette Veva Anderson and Deeno Ray Leighton; his wife Carla Hill of Virginia; and his sons, Donald Lee Leighton and Daniel Harold Leighton. He was also cherished by five grandsons; two great grandsons and one great grandaughter; six nieces and ten nephews.
