She is survived by: her spouse Elmer Ward; her child Cindy Adkins (Bill) of Bend; and her grandsons, Erik, Tom Ward (Kathy Reedy) of Jackson, Wyo., Steve Ward (Kris), Jared Gilbert of Midway, Utah, Karen Ward Gilbert (Joe) and Graham of Helena. She is also survived by children, their spouses.

She regularly volunteered for the American Red Cross in Bend at the donation center and during blood drives.
