With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Karnes (Bend, Oregon), born in Colby, Kansas, who passed away on November 20, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Karnes. He is survived by: his children, Karen Karnes (Bend), Ken Karnes (Bend) and Rick Karnes (Texas); his daughters-in-law, Amy Karnes, Melissa Karnes and Brie Arnette; and his grandchildren, Laurel Karnes (Oregon) and Madison Karnes (Texas). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
