She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Markell and Betty Markell. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Rucker; her daughters, Emily Rucker Schenk and Rachel Rucker; and her brother Stephen Markell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in honor of Kim, to help other people living with multiple sclerosis, and promote their vision of having a world that is free of multiple sclerosis.
