It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Lowry in Bend, Oregon, born in Winnemucca, Nevada, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Barkdull and Edna Barkdull (Ray); her close friend Linda; her children, Jerry Dimmitt and Cindy Dimmitt; her husband Richard Lowry of Mt. Vernon, OR; and her daughters, Lori Kerr of Mt. Vernon, OR and Kathy Gill of John Day, OR. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
