He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Wonser and Cora Wheeler Wonser; his stepparents, Laura and Francis Prosser; and his sister Donna Wonser Winters.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Sloan; his children, Larry Wonser (Molly), Tonya Wonser Parrish and Julie Denfeld (Ed); his siblings, Linda Speedie (Doug), Peggy Spencer and Don Prosser (Donna); his grandchildren, Doug Wonser (Angie), Crystal Young (Justin), Sara Rise (Cory), Taylor DeGree, Colton Parrish, Whitney and Kymber Denfeld; and his great grandchildren, Cole Brennan, Kiya Young, Kobe, Brode Wonser, Hunter, Hailey Lakin and Cru Rise. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
