She is survived by: her former husband Eugene Von Oder; her friends, San Diego Palm (CA), Boise (ID), Sedona (AZ) and Bend (Oregon); her stepmother Leona Stile; her daughter Dr. Kathleen Wachtler (Byron); her brother Dr. Sabato Stile; her nieces, Ranee (John) and Christina (Arch); and her nephew Joe (Stacey).
To honor her memory, Emily would have loved donations to any Animal Humane Society.
