It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Marie Burgess in Bend, Oregon, born in Panama, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Burgess; her daughter Cindy Egli; and her grandson Christopher Smoldt. She is survived by: her siblings, Roland, Joe, Jim, Felice, Dan and Joyce; her daughter Jeanne; her brother David (Daniel); her son Nick Skulich (Jeanne Smoldt); her sons-in-law, Jake Egli, Daniel Burgess (Jerry) and David Burgess (Louise); her grandchildren, Lacy Weeks (Scott), Angie Burgess, Randy Burgess, Don Smoldt, Andrew Egli, Katie Crawford (Will), Mallory Smoldt, Matt Egli, Emily and Abbey Burgess; and her great grandchildren, Ella and Cameron Crawford.
