He was predeceased by: his brothers, J. S. Junior, George Walter, Herman Albert and Johnny Doyle; and his half-sisters, Gladys Rulands, Alice Ballard, Dorothy Henderson and Willie Jay Pieratt.
He is survived by: his pets, Lucky and Chewy; his wife Elise of Bend; his siblings, Tom of Bend and Martha Atteberry of Oklahoma; his sons, Curt Pieratt of Bend and Randy Pieratt of Colorado; his stepson Jerry Wallace of Bend; his daughter Joyce Mason-Curby of Colorado; and also Linda. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
