She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark J. Wilde and Margaret Owen Wilde; her children, Wendell Eugene and Christine Diane; her husband Woody; and her great grandchildren, Timbrel Rain Smith and Myles Eleos Earwicker.
She is survived by: her former husband Elwood Sherman Smith; her sons, Stephen Duane, Terry Warren (Janna), Timothy Dean and Steve Smith (Carri); her daughter-in-law Gini Smith; and her children, Tim Smith (Maryl) and Chris Earwicker (Joe). She is also survived by 4 beautiful sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bold Ventures, a ministry in East Africa founded and directed by Dorothy's grandson, Brent Earwicker.
