Dennis George Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis George Thompson of Bend, Oregon, who passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. George Thompson and Viola Thompson (LaBertew); his wife Bonnita Joy Fecht; his sister Reta Severtson; and his brother-in-law Richard Severtson.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Rompel (Lance) of South Elgin, IL and Douglas (Elizabeth) of Elmhurst, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Valent of McClure, PA, Ryan Rompel of South Elgin, IL, Zach Rompel of South Elgin, IL and Sam Thompson (Oak); and his great grandchildren, Phoenix Valent, Helena Valent and Myla Valent. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial may be sent to the Ascension School Camp (Cove, OR) or your favorite library.
