He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphosine Girard and Adelore Girard; his son Doug; his siblings, Evelyn Chartier, Dorothy Richardson, Rose Kunkel, Robert, Francis, Leroy, Leo and Joe; and his granddaughter Nicole.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Rhoten; his children, Steve (Barb) of Aloha Oregon, Stan (Nancy), Mark (Laurie) of Union Oregon, Brian of Beaverton Oregon and Teresa of Pahoa Hawaii; and his sister-in-law Betty Schmidt. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
