He was predeceased by: his parents, Margery Borawski (Hartley) and Gardner LaMarche; and his grandparents, Andrew Hartley, Erna Hartley (Bowman), Albert LaMarche and Elizabeth LaMarche (Gardner).
He is survived by: his spouse Clara Salo; his children, Cynthia "Thia" LaMarche of Beaverton and Roger LaMarche of Vancouver; his friend Ruth Miles Bruns of Goldendale; his stepdaughter Frances "Frankie" Wright-McCalmont of Upland; and his siblings, Andree LaMarche Carlson, William Borawski (Toni), Gardner LaMarche (Terri), Charles LaMarche (Patty), Christy Drayer (Henry), Mary Jo Dalphonso, Michele Stella (George), Julie LaMarche DeRosso (Mickey), William Cato (Pam), Bobby Cato, Paul Cato, Linda Heath (Stan) and Richard Johnson. He is also survived by one grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
When Virginia was stricken with Alzheimer's, he cared for her at home until he was physically no longer able to do so.
