He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Carney and Hilda Carney; his sister Grace Gearhart; his former wife Gwendolyn Joyce Ellis; his children, Pat, Kathleen, Juliann and Margaret; and his wife Gwen. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
