He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Olson and Edythe Olson. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Erik Olson, Christopher Olson (Melissa), Launa Lowery (Tim) and Heather Bean (Aaron); his grandchildren, Brynlee Olson, Jalen, Hadley, Greyson Lowery, Aubrey, Ethan, Noah and Elizabeth Bean; and his sisters, Pat Snyder and Jean Bidstrup.
