He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy (Tim). He is survived by: his parents, Henry W. Hartigan (Harry) and Barbara L. Hartigan (Rachelle Smith Hartigan); his children, Henry and Margaret Hartigan (Maggie); his pet Hank; his wife Rachelle; and his grandmother Sienie McGuire. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“I’m so sorry to hear about your loss, I met Brian this past February, we both participated in an exercise in Thailand. He was such a funny, knowledgeable, and helpful person. One memory that stands out is when a group of us went hiking, he was the first one to the top of the mountain and the first one to the bottom. I remember him talking about going hiking all time back home. I pray that the Lord comfort your family during this difficult time.”
