He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jackie Smith and Jimmy Smith; his mother Lois Moran; and his stepfather Jim Moran. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Mary Ciula (Isaac), Burt Smith and Julie Sorber (Nick); his sisters, Nancy Rench (Larry), Diane Haggerty and Vickie Otten (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Teddi Smith, Ron Kelly (Gail) and Brian Anderson (Brenda). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
