He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore McGrotty and Cecelia McGrotty (Michaud); his granddaughters, Christine and Jeanine; and his great grandchild Haylie.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Forbis; and his daughters, Catherine Childers of Tigard, Dianne McGrotty of Tigard, Betty (Bob Vandecoevering) of Beaverton, Alice (Erik Losli) of Beaverton and Roberta McGrotty (Mike Leihevet) of Beaverton. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
