It is with great sadness that we announce the death of April Hope Mahone of Banks, Oregon, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy April Hope leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though April Hope may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Meade and Kathlyn Meade; and her husband Gary R. Mahone. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Lilly (Jeff); and her grandsons, Jeremy (Caitlyn) and Tyler Lilly.
