William Chrest Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 89, William Chrest Smith of Bandon, Oregon passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Chrest Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Smith and Grace Smith; his sister Ruth Smith Clapper; his wife Fran Smith of Bandon, OR; his children, Jacque Hale of Arizona, Susan Johnson of Oak Harbor, WA and Pamela Mynatt of Mesa, AZ; his stepchildren, Dawn Ellington of Illinois, Shawn Reeves of Waitsburg, WA and Will Smith of Tacoma, WA; and his grandchildren, Kirk, Johnson, Tiffany Mynatt and Kyle Mynatt (Aaron Hale). He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to his favorite charities, the Wounded Warrior Project or ASPCA.
