He was predeceased by : his parents, John Henry and Ira Mae Hooker Addair; his siblings, Robert Grayson Addair, Jack Douglas Addair, Sr. and Mildred Murensky; his niece Michelle Vinciguerra; his nephew Jack Douglas Addair, Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Frank Murensky, Gene Crawford and Richard Perdue; and his father-in-law Edward Dahl.
He is survived by : his wife Gail Dahl; his sisters, Joyce Vinciguerra of Ashland, KY, Linda Perdue of Roanoke, VA and Wanda Crawford of Huntington, WV; his nieces and nephews, Cathie Murensky, Lakewood, Kimberly Stephens, Mark Murensky, Greenville and Rob Crawford of Huntington, WV; his mother-in-law Penny Dahl; and his brother-in-law Mark Dahl (Coos Bay). He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
