She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard J. Grotte and Gyda Land Grotte; her husband Earl Saari; her daughters, Cathryn Saari House (Marvin) of Corvallis, OR and Cynthia Saari Wilken (Marci Wilken) of Keizer, OR.; her siblings, R. M Grotte (Diana) of White Salmon, WA., Joan Engen of Northwood and Arlene Brunton of Helena, Montana.; and her grandchildren, John R MacDonald II (Bryn) of Herriman, Shawn MacDonald (Cindi) of Portland, OR, Jennifer House Grim (Shane) of Maricopa, AZ, Elizabeth Newton Perkins (Matthew) of Salem, OR, Christopher House of Keizer, OR and Norman Newton of Keizer, OR.. She was also cherished by many great grandchildren.
