He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Dick" McCumber and Hilda McCumber (Jones); his siblings, Millie Butler, Neil McCumber and Rob McCumber; and his granddaughter RyeLynn McCumber.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Becky (DuWayne Layton), Amy (Chris Berg), Jennifer (Josh Komp), Leanna (Jeff Thayer) and Richard McCumber (Stacy); his grandchildren, Christopher Layton, Mackenzie Hanson, Austin Layton, Kaila Key, Elyssa Jensen, Bryson Layton, Morgan Berg, Jackson Thayer, Delaney Layton, Grant Berg, Ainsley Thayer, Avery Berg, Ashlynn Komp, Emery Thayer, Lawson Komp and Liam Thayer; his great grandchildren, Teddy, Tommy, Nathan, Ben, Charlie, Sterling and Archie; his brother Lyle McCumber (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte McCumber and Jason McCrae (Amanda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
