He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Cummings (Hall) and William Cummings; his siblings, Eva, Harlan, Eulala, Otis and Harry; and his son David Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cummings of Baker City, Oregon; and his stepsons, Dan Shelton (Linda) of Baker City, Oregon and Perry Shelton of Baker City. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
