She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Defrenne and Mary Minor Defrenne (Axe); her husband James E. Maddox of Baker City; and her children, James C. Maddox of Hawaii and Mary LaVelle Miller of Lewistown, Montana. She was also cherished by four grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
