It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orrin Lay (Baker City, Oregon), who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his siblings, Oriel and Ron; his children, Travis Lay, Dennis Lay, Thomas (Amy Lay Terry), Easton (Jennifer Lay) and Robert (Sarah Beams); and his grandchildren, Kaleb Lay, Samuel Lay, Bayly Lay, Saskia Lay, Klancy Poor, Spencer Lay, Thornton Lay, Eva Beams and Sophia Beams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallowa Whitman National Forest by donating a tree or to the Baker County Library to support the local history room through Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel at 1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814.
