She is survived by: her close friend Ken Nelson; her stepparents, Lyla and Jerry Meyer; her brothers, Kyle (Taylor), Max Campbell (Brittany), Patrick (Reece) and Zach Meyer (Jaeleesa); her niece Thistle; and her nephews, Jeremiah, Remington, Zander and Hamilton.
Contributions in memory of Nira can be made to Riki's Room, a fund providing qualifying students in North Powder School with coats, shoes, and other necessities.
