It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Schaer of Baker City, Oregon, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Andrew and Anna May Schaer (Powell); his brother John; his wife Beverly Schaer; his children, Kevin Schaer and Maureen Anderson; his stepchildren, John, Marcella Neske, Patty, Richard Howe, Martin, Mary Neske, Dana and Mark Robinson; his former wife Sherry Francis Schaer; his sister Arlene Spriet; his brother-in-law Deal Spriet; his stepdaughter Kathy Smietana; and his sisters-in-law, Glenda Schaer and Cheryl Hilderbrand. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church or Community Connections through Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814.
