She is survived by: her husband Morris Wells Jr.; her son Larry Dean Wells; her granddaughters, Brenda, Karen and Rhonda; her great grandchildren, Jesse Wale and Seirea Wale; her nieces, Deanna Clark, Peggy Albrect, Carol Mason and Debbie Johnson; and her nephew Howard Hopkins.
