She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Elder; her parents, James Carson and Meta Carson; and her sisters, Muriel Barns and Mary Beth Carson.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Juliette, Chloe Elder, Madeline and Isabel Kettler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
