He was predeceased by: his sisters, Francis O'Brian, Dorothy Ferrando and Ann Wirthwein. He is survived by: his spouses, Susan M. Carter and Susan M. Strobel; his children, Henry Strobel, Jr, George Strobel and Marguerite Robinson; his siblings, Paul Strobel, Mary Birchler, Rita Brockman and Carol Dauby; and his grandchildren, Madylin Strobel, Adam Strobel, John Robinson, Carol Robinson, Gregory Robinson, Andrew Robinson and Catherine Robinson.
